How do you convert movie clip so that its compatible with iPod videos?

I have movies downloaded from limewire and they are labeled as movie clips. What can i do to them so that they are compatable with iTunes and my iPod?
I already tried putting it into iTunes, that was the first thing anyone with any common sense would do.

Use a great (freeware) program called Videora.

It's a great, easy to use program that allows you to convert such files like MPG's into MPEG-4, the format that the iPods accept.
