I have the EPC document and GAS SAFETY CHECK . They are saying the radiators are too small and wants me to insulate the loft and cavity walls . This is going to cost me a fortune where do I stand ? Any help please ?
You do NOT have to do that! The law only requires that heat is provided. It does NOT require that it be affordable. They cannot demand that you do anything to the heating system as long as it is working properly. They also have no legal grounds to demand anything be done with the insulation so long as it is up to code.
