Quantum SDLT-320 is best suited for the enterprises that require greater capacity and performance than that of SDLT 220 drive and also need support for the tape media of existing DLT-IV. The customers can archive up to 115 GB/hour (320 GB per tape). They provide 60 percent more capacity per cartridge when compared in similar form factor with the LTO-1 ultrium drives. It is (read only) backward compatible with DLT-IV tape media that has been written on DLT-1, VS-80, DLT-8000, DLT-4000 and DLT-2000 data tape drives. And is fully compatible (write/read) with Super-DLT 1 media that has been written on the tape drives of SDLT-220. The important thing is that the drives of Super DLT 320 utilize the tape of SDLT-1. Therefore, there is no need for the current users of SDLT to make new investment for media when they use the SDLT-320 tape drive. The SDLT-320 tape drives bridge SDLT & DLT due to the backward capability (read) with the media of DLT type-IV.

How do I use a Self-Cleaning Oven?
It may sound lame, but I do not know how to use my self-cleaning oven. It is a Whirlpool Super Capacity 465. I think I just push the self-cleaninng button and it locks and gets real hot. Do I need to take the racks out? Do you know how long it takes? I heard that it can smell and get smoky - is this often. It hasn't been cleaned for about 7 mths.
First, be aware that the self-clean cycle won't clean everything out of the oven. Before you run it, you should wipe the door between the edge and the gasket. It also helps to wipe out big spills. DON'T use any oven-cleaning chemicals, as they can ruin the finish in your oven. You can use a little baking soda or vinegar for this job.
I don't know what your manufacturer recommends, but in general you should take the oven racks out. Over time the cleaning cycle will burn the finish off them; they will turn black and won't slide out of the oven as easily.
Good luck! At least you don't have to clean the whole thing!
